King Promise – Can’t Tame Us (Chelsea Anthem)

A lifelong Chelsea supporter, King Promise turns his love for the club into music with “Can’t Tame Us (Chelsea Anthem),” an Afrosounds record released on September 28, 2026.

The Ghanaian Afrobeats star created the song as the official Chelsea FC theme song for the 2026/27 season, with the anthem set to feature at the club’s home games throughout the campaign.

For King Promise, the release carries a personal meaning. His support for Chelsea dates back to watching Ghanaian football legend Michael Essien, whose time at the club helped spark his connection with the Blues. The partnership therefore brings together his musical career and a football club he has supported for years.

Running for just under two minutes, “Can’t Tame Us” delivers an upbeat, stadium-ready sound shaped by Ghanaian musical influences. Its energetic approach is designed to match the excitement of matchday while giving Chelsea supporters a song to rally around throughout the new season.
