Tanzanian music star Mbosso returns with another captivating Bongo Flava release titled “Ozalima,” officially unveiled on May 21, 2026. Released through Ziiki Media in a surprise midnight rollout, the song arrives as the singer’s latest romantic anthem following the success of his earlier 2026 records, “Bhuju” and “Darasa La Saba.”

Known for his emotionally expressive songwriting, Mbosso uses “Ozalima” to deliver a playful yet passionate love story built around intense admiration and obsession.

In addition, the title draws inspiration from the Hindi-Urdu word *Zaalima*, commonly interpreted as “cruel one” or “tormentor.” Rather than using it negatively, Mbosso transforms the phrase into a romantic metaphor for a woman whose beauty leaves him emotionally overwhelmed and completely lovestruck.

Throughout the song, the Tanzanian hitmaker blends humor with affection, describing just how far he would go to protect the woman he loves from rival admirers.

In his exaggerated expressions of devotion, he jokingly references fierce guard dogs and action-movie-style protectors like Arnold Schwarzenegger and Rambo to emphasize the depth of his attachment.

With its catchy melodies, humorous romantic storytelling, and infectious East African rhythm, “Ozalima” continues Mbosso’s run of emotionally engaging love songs while further showcasing his versatility within the modern Bongo Flava scene.
