The legal team representing Nigerian President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has made multiple appeals to three US courts in an effort to prevent Chicago State University from disclosing Mr. Tinubu’s academic records.

David Hudeyin, on his official X account, has confirmed that all three US courts have rejected Tinubu’s legal team’s requests. Consequently, Chicago State University is obligated to release the academic credentials to the Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar.

Recently, Magistrate Gilbert issued an order mandating Chicago State University to furnish all pertinent documents pertaining to Tinubu’s academic history to Atiku. Regrettably, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has lodged an appeal against this decision, contending that the release of these records would cause irreparable harm to him.

Additionally, Tinubu’s legal team has proposed rescheduling the deposition time from 10 a.m. to 12 noon tomorrow, citing the need for additional time.

However, the Atiku legal team has declined this request, asserting that the Chicago State University has already handed over the documents to the concerned parties.

Nigerians are anxiously awaiting the resolution of this ongoing saga, which has persisted for several months.
