Canadian music superstar Drake expanded his ambitious 2026 rollout with the surprise release of *HABIBTI*, an 11-track studio album unveiled on May 15, 2026. The project arrived simultaneously alongside *ICEMAN* and *MAID OF HONOUR*, forming a historic triple-album release distributed through OVO Sound and Republic Records.
Unlike the colder and more confrontational atmosphere of *ICEMAN*, *HABIBTI* leans heavily into moody R&B textures, emotional vulnerability, and late-night slow-jam aesthetics.
The album embraces softer production, intimate songwriting, and melodic performances, highlighting Drake’s long-established ability to blend rap with emotionally driven contemporary R&B.
Not to mention, the title *HABIBTI* comes from the Arabic word “حبيبتي,” a term of affection meaning “my love” or “my darling” when addressing a woman.
Eventually, the title also reconnects Drake with Arabic influences he previously referenced in his 2020 collaboration “Only You Freestyle,” where his incorporation of Arabic phrases generated major online discussion.
