South African Maskandi artist Skhumba STS returns with Asim’shayele Izandla, a six-track EP officially released on July 30, 2026. Issued through Undini Records, the project marks his final extended play of the year and arrives after the release of his earlier 2026 studio album, Queen Of London.
Rooted in the rich traditions of Maskandi music, the EP blends heartfelt storytelling with vibrant guitar melodies and authentic Zulu musical influences. Skhumba STS also enlists a number of guest artists, including Jikijiki, Shenge Wasehlalankosi, and Luve Dubazane, each contributing their own distinct style to the project while preserving its traditional identity.
The six-track collection includes “Asim’shayele Izandla” featuring Jikijiki, “Ngizolobola Umfana,” “Thula Wena Wazini” featuring Shenge Wasehlalankosi, “Useng’xoshile,” “Ekhaya” featuring Luve Dubazane, and “Idimoni Lami.”
