Davido and Aya Nakamura Reunite on Global Anthem “Yaya”
Nigerian Afrobeats superstar Davido reunites with French-Malian music sensation Aya Nakamura on “Yaya,” one of the standout collaborations from his highly anticipated sixth studio album, ORIADÉ. Released as Track 10 on the 13-track project, the song arrives on July 31, 2026, through Columbia Records and Sony Music Entertainment Africa.
Yaya marks the second official collaboration between the two international stars following their successful 2018 record “Gang,” which appeared on Aya Nakamura’s multi-platinum album NAKAMURA and went on to earn Gold certification in France. Their long-awaited reunion brings together two distinctive musical styles with effortless chemistry.
Blending Davido’s vibrant Afrobeats rhythms with Aya Nakamura’s signature Afro-pop and French urban R&B influences, the song delivers a polished crossover sound designed for both African and international audiences.
