“Street Osankwa” is a highlife-infused hip-hop/rap track by Nigerian hardcore rapper Caften (Caften Alancha). The song is taken from his debut independent album, Dreams from Trenches, where he blends street storytelling with African rhythm.
Appearing as the 11th track on the project, “Street Osankwa” delivers gritty lyrics, confident flows, and a vibrant highlife-inspired instrumental.
However, the production was handled by talented producer Crazy Beatz, who gives the record a rich, energetic sound.
With this release, Caften continues to prove his ability to merge street rap with traditional African music influences.
