Davido Announces ORIADÉ, His Sixth Studio Album Celebrating 15 Years of Excellence
Nigerian Afrobeats superstar Davido ushers in a new chapter of his career with the release of ORIADÉ, his sixth studio album, which arrived worldwide on Friday, July 31, 2026, via Columbia Records and Sony Music Entertainment Africa. The 13-track project marks a major milestone as the award-winning artist celebrates 15 years since his breakthrough into the music industry.
Derived from the Yoruba words “Ori” (destiny or head) and “Adé” (crown), ORIADÉ translates to “The Crowned Destiny.” The album reflects Davido’s journey, legacy, and evolution while embracing a renewed artistic direction.
Blending his signature Afrobeats sound with modern 3-Step and Afro House influences inspired by South Africa, the project delivers a vibrant fusion of traditional African rhythms and contemporary dance music.
Leading the rollout are the previously released singles “I Know Who I Be” and “Gimme Dat Ting,” both of which preview the album’s energetic and innovative sound.
ORIADÉ also follows the success of Davido’s 2025 album, 5ive, while becoming his most concise studio effort to date with just 13 tracks.
