South African Amapiano powerhouse De Mthuda opens his Noise EP with “Skuta,” an energetic instrumental-driven record released on July 10, 2026.
Serving as the lead track and introduction to the 8-track project, the song highlights the producer’s ability to create immersive grooves built around rhythm, atmosphere, and deep musical textures.
Powered by crisp percussion, layered synth arrangements, and De Mthuda’s signature heavy log drums, “Skuta” delivers the underground Amapiano experience that has become central to his production identity. The extended 6-minute-plus composition allows the groove to develop naturally, creating a hypnotic soundscape tailored for dancefloors and dedicated Amapiano listeners.
Following the success of the original version, De Mthuda expanded the record’s impact with “Skuta Reloaded” on August 7, 2026, featuring Mpumyza. The updated version adds energetic vocal elements while maintaining the powerful rhythm and club-ready foundation of the original.
