South African club music gets a powerful boost with “Smackdown,” a collaborative effort from DJ Arabic, DJ Nkabza, and Peekay Mzee, officially released on August 7, 2026.
The record explores the harder, more percussive side of contemporary African dance music, blending Afro House and 3-Step influences into a high-impact club sound.
Additional vocal contributions from Sicelo Majozi, Nkanyiso Lucas Jama, and Poloko Zola add extra movement to the instrumental, giving the track a dynamic feel suited to energetic dance floors.
