KATSEYE steps into a more confident and assertive mood with “That Way,” a high-energy pop track that focuses on self-worth, personal boundaries, and knowing what you want from a relationship. The song appear as the fifth track on the group’s third EP, WILD, adding another bold moment to the project.
Before its official release, KATSEYE gave fans an early taste of the track during Spotify’s KLUB KATSEYE event in Brooklyn, New York, on August 11, 2026. The group performed the song live for the first time, giving attendees an exclusive preview ahead of its scheduled digital release on August 14.
“That Way” carries a direct message about putting yourself first when a relationship no longer meets your needs. Rather than settling or ignoring personal boundaries, the song encourages confidence and emotional clarity. Its energetic production matches that attitude, giving the record a bold and lively feel.
The first live performance also came with a change in the group’s lineup. Daniela, Lara, Megan, and Yoonchae performed the song as a four-member unit at Elsewhere in Brooklyn. Manon and Sophia were absent from the showcase due to their respective breaks.
