Erigga and EESKAY take their cross-cultural collaboration deeper with “USUMANU AND KEVWE,” the fifth and penultimate track on their joint EP, North & South. Released on July 31, 2026, the song serves as one of the project’s most narrative-driven moments, bringing its central theme of unity into sharper focus.
The title uses two traditional names to represent the backgrounds of the two rappers. Usumanu reflects EESKAY’s Northern roots, while Kevwe represents Erigga’s South-South heritage. Through these characters, both artists tell a wider story about young people facing similar struggles despite growing up in different parts of Nigeria.
