Rising Nigerian singer, songwriter, and producer Swayvee opens a new chapter with PersWaysion, an 8-track Afro-fusion EP released on August 14, 2026. The project serves as the first volume of his intimate conceptual series, A Yearner’s Diary.
Across the project, Swayvee explores the different sides of desire, romance, vulnerability, attraction, and the everyday pursuit of a better life. Rather than sticking to one mood, he moves between smooth Afro-R&B, melodic Afro-fusion, and more upbeat sounds, giving the EP a varied but cohesive feel.
The project also features a strong mix of collaborations. Wizard Chan, Keleya, Scottyolorin, Fergiee, JayJayy, and Bola Bmh each bring their own flavour to different moments, while Swayvee remains at the centre of the project with his melodic and versatile approach.
From the romantic warmth of “You’re Mine” to the energetic bounce of “Selense” and the cross-cultural feel of “Spaceship,” each track adds another piece to the story Swayvee is building through A Yearner’s Diary.
