Ugandan music stars Pallaso, Jose Chameleone, and Weasel unite on “GUMITE” — also widely recognized as “Tulii Gumite” — a powerful Afro-fusion collaboration released on May 19, 2026.

While the trio has frequently shared stages at major Ugandan events over the years, “GUMITE” marks a major official studio collaboration released under their unified family identity.

Blending Ugandan Afro-fusion, Kidandali, and dancehall influences, the song combines Pallaso’s modern Afrobeats melodies, Jose Chameleone’s iconic gritty vocal delivery, and Weasel’s signature ragga-inspired flow into one energetic and emotionally resonant anthem.

The Luganda word “Gumite” loosely translates to “remaining strong, firm, or resilient,” reflecting the family’s endurance through personal struggles, industry tensions, and years of dominance within East African music culture.

Lastly, the message also carries emotional weight tied to the legacy of their late brother AK47, whose memory continues to influence the Mayanja family’s musical journey.
