Nigerian rising artist Kayode is building strong momentum around his evolving “Yoruba Trap” sound with the upcoming *Yoruba Trap Vol. 2*, a project that continues his fusion of traditional Yoruba music and modern trap influences.

Meanwhile, the rollout follows the success of his breakout record “Aimoye,” released on March 13, 2026, which helped define his current artistic direction. The track notably samples the classic work of Fuji legend Saheed Osupa, adding a nostalgic layer to its modern street sound.

Kayode is also preparing the release of “Ise Oluwa,” another key record that draws from the iconic Apala classic by Musiliu Haruna Ishola, further reinforcing his approach of blending indigenous Yoruba sounds with contemporary production.

Beyond his music, Kayode has also received public encouragement from Saheed Osupa, who has reportedly supported the idea of revisiting and sampling older catalog material to help preserve and modernize Fuji influences for a new generation.
