A new chapter begins for Kunmie with the release of his debut studio album, 22, which arrived at midnight on August 14, 2026. The Nigerian R&B and Afrobeats artist follows the breakout success of his 2025 hit “Arike” with a 13-track project that gives his smooth, emotionally driven sound more room to grow.

Released through CiDAR Africa and AltMusic HQ, with licensing handled by ONErpm, 22 brings together a strong mix of established and emerging Nigerian voices. Kunmie keeps the focus on his own sound while using each collaboration to explore different sides of his artistry.
