South African Amapiano duo Q Bonke and Mlooda join forces for a vibrant new collaborative project titled “STEP ZERO EP Album,” an extended play that explores the rhythmic dynamism of Amapiano, 3Step, and tribal-inspired sounds.
Officially released on August 7, 2026, the seven-track EP arrives through Kreative Kornerr Communications and is distributed under Sony Music Entertainment Africa.
Across the project, Q Bonke and Mlooda create a diverse listening experience that combines deep grooves, melodic vocals, and richly textured South African rhythms.
The EP opens with “Ngiyekeni (Intro)”, featuring Imbongi Yosizi, before moving through a series of collaborations that showcase the duo’s creative range.
“Mngani” features Felo Le Tee and Smoove, while “Xola” brings in Miikey Ndlovu. Other contributors include Mshibe, De Confident, Soul Nativez, Zee Nxumalo, MalumNator, and Cadie Yano.
