The emotional side of JUNCTION comes forward on “TRUST ISSUES,” a moody collaboration between British-Ghanaian producer Juls, Jamaican artist Projexx, and Nigerian alternative R&B singer Tay Iwar. Released on August 14, 2026, the track is the seventh song on their 9-track joint album.
Juls takes a softer approach to the production, moving away from the heavier dancehall rhythms heard on some of the earlier tracks. Ambient melodies, subtle percussion, and smooth basslines create a late-night atmosphere that gives the vocals plenty of room to breathe.
The song explores the uncertainty that can come with romantic relationships, touching on doubt, vulnerability, jealousy, and trust. Projexx brings his Caribbean-influenced delivery to the record, while Tay Iwar adds his signature airy vocals and Alternative R&B sensibilities, giving the track a more intimate emotional depth.
“TRUST ISSUES” also reunites the three artists after their earlier collaboration on Wizkid’s “True Love,” alongside Tay Iwar and Projexx. Their renewed chemistry is evident here, but this time they explore a more reflective and emotionally exposed side of their sound.
