American rock band Dexter and The Moonrocks achieved a major breakthrough with their hit single “Freakin’ Out,” officially released on March 11, 2026.
The track became a defining moment for the Abilene, Texas-based group, marking their first appearance on the US Billboard Hot 100. After debuting at number 91, the song continued gaining momentum and eventually climbed to number 33, introducing the band to a much wider audience.
