After two consecutive collaborations with Mjolisi, Litshepe Lr turns the attention back to himself on “Bula Pelo,” the fourth track on his Maja – Samo EP. The solo record gives the Southern African Hip-Hop artist space to explore a more personal and melodic side of his artistry.
Released on August 7, 2026, “Bula Pelo” was produced by Ntota Mafifi, Thibza DJ, and Shev Shengu. Their production combines strong Sotho rap rhythms with warm melodic progressions, creating a polished backdrop that allows Litshepe Lr’s delivery to remain at the center of the song.
The title “Bula Pelo” translates to “Open Your Heart” in Sesotho, reflecting the track’s more emotional direction. Rather than focusing solely on energetic rap performances, Litshepe Lr explores themes of vulnerability, relationships, perseverance, and the importance of expressing what lies within.
