Before the release of her debut EP, Mbalenhle M had already introduced listeners to her artistic depth through “Ulwembu,” a soulful Afro House and 3-Step collaboration featuring Maline Aura and Section Five.

Originally released as a breakout single in July 2025, “Ulwembu” later found its place as the fifth track on Mbalenhle M’s debut studio EP, Ngokwami, which arrived on July 24, 2026.
Produced with contributions from Section Five, the six-minute record combines deep house grooves, atmospheric melodies, and expressive vocals to create a rich listening experience.
The title “Ulwembu,” meaning “The Web” in isiZulu, serves as a metaphor for the complexities of love and emotional attachment.
With contributions from Maline Aura and Section Five, the song remains a standout piece in Mbalenhle M’s growing catalog, showcasing her ability to transform personal emotions into captivating Afro House music.
