The remix builds on the original “Ibandla,” a standout record produced by Ruff from the collaborative album The Trap Temptations. The project recently crossed one million Spotify streams, adding momentum to the release of the new version.
The remix follows anticipation sparked by a Nasty C C-Mix teaser, which gave fans an early taste of his take on the song. The official release now expands that idea into a full collaboration, blending South African trap, local melodies, and hard-hitting hip-hop.
Released through 1020 Cartel, Emtee Records, and OVLOE Monopoly, “Ibandla (Remix)” brings together some of South Africa’s most recognizable hip-hop voices for a heavyweight update to Ruff’s original.
