Durban Gqom producers Woza Bakzin and GoldMax join forces for their collaborative album Gqom In Black (GIB), released on August 14, 2026, through Afrotainment.

In addition, the 14-track project celebrates the raw energy of Durban Gqom, combining heavy drums, dark electronic sounds, and powerful club-ready rhythms.

The album features several notable collaborations with artists from South Africa’s dance music scene. DJ Tira appears on “Kush’ibhadu,” while Zee Nxumalo and Funky Qla join Woza Bakzin and GoldMax on “Cosh’ uPin.” Other featured names include LeeMcKrazy, Blaqkidd, Naitor, Assiye Bongzin, Moh, DaLee, and CampMasters.

With its hard-hitting production and strong lineup of collaborators, Gqom In Black delivers a solid collection of tracks made for Gqom fans and dance floors.

The project also includes the self-titled “Gqom In Black II,” which further represents the dark and energetic sound behind the album.
