Deeply rooted in gratitude and faith, “Aanu Ni” emerges as a powerful gospel release from Nigerian singer and composer Bisimanuel. Produced by Cookhouse.
Released on May 8, 2026, the song carries a heartfelt message centered on divine mercy, reminding listeners that many life victories come through grace rather than human strength alone.
Additionally, the title, which translates to “It is Mercy” in Yoruba, reflects the core theme of the record and the wider 12-track album of the same name.
Throughout the project, Bisimanuel explores themes of testimony, spiritual endurance, unmerited favor, and thanksgiving through emotionally rich songwriting and worship-inspired melodies.
One of the most resonant moments in “Aanu Ni” comes through the lyric, “Ohun t’awon kan gbawe fun, lo se were,” a Yoruba line expressing how certain blessings arrived effortlessly through mercy, even when others struggled or sacrificed deeply for similar breakthroughs.
