South African Amapiano artist Tman Xpress teams up with Mellow & Sleazy, Zambezi Shandu, and Rasca Djy on “Imiyalo Yomhlaba,” a track from the 2026 project Midnight In Diepkloof Zone 2 EP Album.
The record continues the Diepkloof-inspired concept of the project, drawing from township life in Soweto and the everyday rules, experiences, and realities that shape street culture. “Imiyalo Yomhlaba” explores this theme through a blend of rhythmic storytelling and immersive Amapiano production.
Mellow & Sleazy provide a strong sonic foundation with deep log drums, layered percussion, and minimalist piano elements that drive the groove forward. Rasca Djy adds production texture and rhythmic variation, while Zambezi Shandu contributes an additional creative layer that enhances the track’s overall structure.
Tman Xpress delivers smooth vocal lines with a steady flow, guiding the track through its shifting sections while keeping its core rhythm intact. The result is a balanced collaboration that moves between laid-back groove moments and more energetic Amapiano switches.
