South African Amapiano artist Tman Xpress joins forces with Mellow & Sleazy, Soul Revolver, and Djy Ma’Ten on “Ukholo Lwami (Sunrise),” a track from the 2026 project Midnight In Diepkloof Zone 2 EP Album.

The record continues the Diepkloof-inspired theme of the project, drawing from township experiences and late-night-to-early-morning transitions that shape the sound of the series. “Ukholo Lwami (Sunrise),” which translates to “My Faith,” leans into reflective storytelling layered over atmospheric Amapiano production.

Mellow & Sleazy provide their signature foundation of deep log drums, rolling percussion, and minimalist piano progressions, while Soul Revolver and Djy Ma’Ten contribute textured production elements that add depth and variation to the arrangement. Tman Xpress delivers smooth, melodic vocals that glide across the instrumental, maintaining a steady and engaging flow.

The “Sunrise” subtitle reflects the track’s shifting energy, moving from calm, introspective moments into more uplifting, groove-driven sections. This contrast gives the song a natural progression that mirrors the transition from night to morning.

“Ukholo Lwami (Sunrise)” further strengthens the identity of Midnight In Diepkloof Zone 2, showcasing the collaborative chemistry between all contributors and the evolving sound of modern Amapiano.
